Prize Picks Execs Get Death Threats
I usually comment on news at Secure Stakes but today I have the unusual opportunity to break some news. (h/t Seamus Hughes)
An arrest warrant was issued in Georgia earlier this month for a Maryland man who allegedly graphically threatened Prize Picks executives via the company's customer service chat bot.
According to the filing he was upset about losing money on the platform and having his funds frozen. He told customer service that he was "on his way to Atlanta to blow up Prize Picks headquarters" and would then go kill a number of executives and their families. The conversation with the mix of bots and human customer service agents also included antisemitic-related threats.
